WWE legend Hulk Hogan has died at age 71, according to reports.
Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, died after cops and EMP were called to his Clearwater, Florida, home on Thursday morning.
First responders responded to the home after receiving a call about a “cardiac arrest,” according to TMZ.
Paramedics and police patrol were reportedly parked outside of Hogan’s home on Thursday morning.
Hogan was wheeled out of his home and mounted onto a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance, TMZ reported.
He reportedly died at a hospital.
Clearwater police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The wrestling icon’s cause of death has not been disclosed.
The World Wrestling Entertainment confirmed Hogan death in a statement, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.
“One of pop culture’s most recognizable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s.
“WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”
Hogan’s ailing health had been widely reported in the weeks leading up to his death, including rumors that he was on his “deathbed” and in a coma.
However, Hogan’s wife, Sky, quickly quashed the reports, stating his heart was “strong” and he was recovering from a neck procedure.

Hogan’s far-reaching influence helped transform WWE into a global wrestling promotion juggernaut.
