Storm Training Camp Kicks Off Friday, March 6

The Tampa Bay Storm opens training camp Friday, March 6 in preparation for the 2015 Arena Football League season, announced the team.
“As a team, it has always been our goal to put together a roster that will take our team to the next level,” said Head Coach Lawrence Samuels. “This season we have several returning veterans to help build on last season’s foundation. We are excited to get back to work and build the championship tradition that Tampa Bay is accustomed to.”
Players will report on Thursday, March 5 for physicals and meetings, with the first practice starting at 8:15 AM the following day, Friday, March 6. The first two days (Friday and Saturday) will be non-contact, with Sunday, March 8 being the first day of padded practice.
The Storm will host training camp at AMALIE Arena (401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602) on Sunday, March 8 through Wednesday, March 11.
The training camp roster consists of 35 players, plus invitees, who will compete for 24 spots on the opening roster. Final rosters must be turned into the League office by 5:00 PM CT on Friday, March 20.
The Storm opens up the 2015 AFL season at home versus the reigning American Conference Champions, Cleveland Gladiators, on Friday, March 27 at Amalie Arena on Amalie Motor Oil Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
